This week the Alaska Means Business crew traveled across the state to sit down with several dynamic Alaskan Business Leaders who have overcome every challenge the early stages of winter can throw at them. This comes on the heels of season after season of perseverance that led to success. Their fortitude and attitude is inspiring, and our team can’t wait to share their stories with you.
Being an entrepreneur is about solving problems. In Alaska, the problems we solve as business people can be especially challenging in Winter. Busted pipes, extreme temps, a customer base that may not be as motivated to transact as they were in May.
As the temps drop and we take our next steps down a path sure to be covered with snow (or rain in Southeast) we’d like to encourage you and your team to keep problem-solving.
Don’t give up. If we’re going to go through another tough winter, LET'S KEEP GOING!
Without exception, every Alaskan Business Leader that our team has interviewed has stressed the importance of strategic partnerships. This is how we get through winter, together.
Like the Alaskans before us who chopped wood and hauled water in preparation for the coming cold, we need to prepare. A famous boxer once said, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face”. No doubt, the business community will get punched in the face this winter. Business is always full of surprises. But when we collaborate, we as entrepreneurs are stronger. The surprises we encounter are easier to solve with your friends.
Alaska Means Business specializes in communicating the stories of Alaska Business Leaders to as many of the 733,000+ Alaskans that we can reach. If you think we maybe a good strategic partner, we are all ears, and ready to help your team solve problems.
If we can help, holler at us. Click here to do that.
